VIAGRA works by relaxing the blood vessels of the penis, so more blood can flow into it causing an erection when you are sexually aroused. After sex, your erection will go away as it would normally.

VIAGRA increases the blood flow to the penis to help men get and keep an erection that lasts long enough for sex.

VIAGRA will not give you an instant erection. You need to be sexually aroused for VIAGRA connect to work.

VIAGRA will not help you if you do not have ED symptoms.

For most men, the recommended dose is 50 mg. Based on effectiveness and toleration, the dose may be increased to a maximum recommended dose of 100 mg or decreased to 25 mg. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once per day.

About Viagra

The active ingredient of Viagra is Sildenafil Citrate. It belongs to the PDE-5 family of vasodilators. Viagra Administration

The safe indicated dose of Viagra (Sildenafil Citrate) within a 24 hour period is 150mg (1 tablet). This medicine will become effective within 30 to 60 minutes. Effective treatment time is 4 – 6 hours. Always take this medicine with a large glass of water.

Avoid large or fatty meals close to when you intend to take the medicine. Additionally, avoid the regular consumption of large amounts of grapefruits and grapefruit juice. Grapefruit can raise the levels of Sildenafil Citrate in your body and delay the time it takes for the medication to work.

Alcohol will also reduce the effectiveness of this medicine. Viagra (Sildenafil Citrate) can lower blood pressure, and combining it with alcohol may further increase this effect. You may be more likely to experience symptoms such as dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, flushing, headache, and heart palpitations. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with Viagra, and use caution when getting up from a sitting or lying position.

Never take other erectile dysfunction medications at the same time as taking Viagra (Sildenafil Citrate). Seek urgent medical advice if an allergic reaction, sudden vision loss or painful erections lasting more than four hours occur.

Viagra Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, Viagra (Sildenafil Citrate) may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Commonly reported side effects of Viagra (Sildenafil Citrate) include: dyspepsia, headache, visual disturbance, and flushing. Other side effects include: epistaxis, insomnia, nasal congestion, and rhinitis.
